CASE STUDY

NutriSystem for Women

Wedding planning and film production share many of the same challenges: the perfect location, the appropriate attire, and mind boggling last minute details. So when NutriSystem, Inc. asked Big Shot Pictures to create a commercial that featured one of their "success stories" as a bikini-clad bride, Big Shot did what any good wedding planner would do: they made it happen. From the opening notes of the Wedding March to the look of sheer happiness on the face of the groom, the wedding - and the spot - went off without a hitch. Big Shot was also able to add value to the spot by creatively placing additional NutriSystem customers among the guests and entertainment. These testimonials gave even more credence to NutriSystem's claims and helped make the spot even more fun. The "Wedding" is a successful marriage of storytelling and DR, and will prove to be fruitful for the Nourish program.

Thomas Connerty
Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
NutriSystem Inc.

"Ok. Let me give it to you straight. I've been making DRTV commercials for more than 15 years. I've worked with dozens of production houses, ad agencies, boutique creative shops and even internal creative departments. Big Shot Pictures is light years ahead of all of them in terms of creativity, dedication and execution. They are simply the best in the industry. Their work is outstanding. It performs. It breaks through clutter. It sells. It builds brands. And they do such astonishingly creative work time and time again. If it wasn't for them Bowflex would never have generated $350 million in annual sales. If it wasn't for them NutriSystem would not be growing at 300% in 2005. If it wasn't for them I would not be the Chief Marketing Officer of a publicly traded organization. If you are thinking about using another organization to develop and produce your creative think again. These guys are EPIC! Trust me. The stupidest business decision you could ever make would be to hire another company."
